1 郊祭:
《春秋》之義,國有大喪者,止宗廟之祭,而不止郊祭,不敢以父母之喪,廢事天地之禮也。父母之喪,至哀痛悲苦也,尚不敢廢郊也,孰足以廢郊者?故其在禮,亦曰:「喪者不祭,唯祭天為越喪而行事。」夫古之畏敬天而重天郊,如此甚也。今群臣學士不探察,曰:「萬民多貧,或頗饑寒,足郊乎?」是何言之誤!天子父母事天,而子孫畜萬民。民未遍飽,無用祭天者,是猶子孫未得食,無用食父母也。言莫逆於是,是其去禮遠也。先貴而後賤,孰貴於天子?天子號天之子也。奈何受為天子之號,而無天子之禮?天子不可不祭天也,無異人之不可以不食父。為人子而不事父者,天下莫能以為可。今為天之子而不事天,何以異是?是故天子每至歲首,必先郊祭以離開天,乃敢為地,行子禮也;每將同師,必先郊祭以告天,乃敢徵伐,行子道也。文王受天命而王天下,先郊乃敢行事,而興師伐崇。其《》曰:「芃芃棫樸,薪之槱之。濟濟辟王,左右趨之,濟濟闢王,左右奉璋。奉璋峨峨,髦土攸宜。」此郊辭也。其下曰:「淠彼涇舟,丞徒楫之。周王於邁,六師及之。」此伐辭也。其下曰:「文王受命,有此武功,既伐於崇,作邑於豐。」以此辭者,見文王受命則郊,郊乃伐崇,伐崇之時,民何處央乎?
