然后好恶形焉。	Then arise the manifestations of liking and disliking.
好恶无节于内，	When these are not regulated by anything within,
知诱于外，	and growing knowledge leads more astray without,
不能反躬，	he cannot come back to himself,
天理灭矣。	and his Heavenly principle is extinguished.
