Posted by: admin (CTP Admin)This board is intended for the creation and discussion of translations of passages of text in the database into English, modern Chinese, or other languages. Please post suggested translations here, and link the thread to the passage in the database concerned [more details]. Please make a new thread for each passage. The aim is for anyone interested to discuss and suggest improvements to the translation; once a complete chapter has been translated satisfactorily, the translation can be added to the main site for everyone to use.

You are welcome to post your own complete or partial translations and to quote and discuss published translations, but please respect the copyright of authors and do not post whole published translations here unless they are your own work, and you agree to them being used on this site. By posting translations in this forum, you agree to your work being published on the CTP. If you want to quote your own translation, but do not want it to be posted on the site, please make this clear in your message.

Posted by: hutschi (Bernd Hutschenreuthe)Hi, I found this forum searching for translations of chinese poetry.
Unfortunately, I cannot speak Chinese. But I could contribute by writing German translations from the English ones. Would this be possible and helpful or is it a silly idea?
I know it is like looking through twice looking glasses rather than one.
Best regards
Hutschi
