1 袁安:
袁安為尹十餘年，政令公平，未嘗以贓罪鞠人。常嘆曰：「凡士之學，高欲望宰相，下及牧守，錮人於聖代，尹不忍為也。」

2 袁安:
和帝始加元服，時太后詔袁安為賓，賜束帛、乘馬。

3 袁安:
袁安為司徒，每朝會，憂念王室，未嘗不流涕也。
