天道因则大，化则细。因也者，因人之情也。人莫不自为也，化而使之为我，则莫可得而用矣。是故先王见不受禄者不臣，禄不厚者，不与入难。人不得其所以自为也，则上不取用焉。故用人之自为，不用人之为我，则莫不可得而用矣。此之谓因。
