沮渠蒙逊时，沙门昙摩忏者，博达多识，为蒙逊之所信重，魏氏遣李顺拜蒙逊为凉王，乃求昙摩忏，蒙逊怯而不与。昙摩忏意欲入魏，屡从蒙逊请行，蒙逊怒杀之。既而左右当白日中。见昙摩忏以劒击蒙逊。因以疾而死。出《还冤记》
