陈寔尝叹曰。若周子居者，真栋梁之器。譬诸宝劒。则世之龙泉。客有问陈季方曰。足下家君，有何功德，而荷天下重名。季方曰。吾家君，譬如桂树，生于泰山之阿，上有万仞之高，下有不测之渊；上为甘露所沾，下为渊泉所润。当斯之时，桂树焉知泰山之高，渊泉之深。不知有功德与无。出《世说》
