1 馬嶺山:
開元四年六月，郴州馬嶺山側有白蛇，長六七尺。黑蛇長丈餘。須臾。二蛇鬪。白者吞黑蛇，到麤處，口兩嗌皆裂，血流滂沛。黑蛇頭入，嚙白蛇肋上作孔。頭出二尺餘。俄而兩蛇並死。後十餘日。大雨，山水暴漲。漂破五百餘家。失三百餘人。出《朝野僉載》
