《晋中兴书》曰：明穆皇后庾氏，讳文君，左将军琛第三女也。后少以圭璋特异，令仪淑美。故中宗为肃祖纳焉。初为世子妃，仁和有礼，深见敬重。后生显宗成皇帝，显宗即位，尊后曰皇太后。群臣奏：“天子幼冲，宜依汉和熹皇后故事。”后辞让数四，不得已遂临朝摄万机。苏峻作逆，王师败绩，后以忧逼，崩，时年三十三。
