《后周书》曰：宣陈后，名月仪，自云颍川人。大将军山提之女。以选入宫，拜为德妃。月馀，立为天元左大皇后。帝崩，出俗为尼，改名华光。父山提，本尔朱兆之隶。仕齐，为特进、开府、谢阳王。高祖平齐，拜大将军。以后父超授上柱国，除大宗伯。
