《北史》曰：乾陁國，在烏萇西，本名業波，為嚈噠所破，因改焉。好征戰，與罽賓斗，三年不罷，人怨苦之。有斗象七百頭，十人乘一象，皆執兵仗，象鼻縛刀以戰。所都城東南七里有佛塔，高七十丈，周三百步，即所謂雀離佛圖也。
