《广志》曰：甲香，出南方。

《南州异物志》曰：甲香，螺属也。大者如瓯，面前一边直搀，长数寸，围壳岨峿有刺。其掩可合众香烧之，皆使益芳；独烧则臭。甲香，一名流螺，谓掷晷流最厚味。
