南山之隈有大木，群螘萃焉。穿其中而積土其外，於是木朽而螘日蕃，則分處其南北之柯，螘之垤瘯如也。一日野火至，其處南者走而北，處北者走而南，不能走者漸而遷於火所未至，已而俱爇無遺者。
