《庄子》曰：木与木相摩则燃，金与火相守则流。阴阳错行，则天地大骇，于是乎有雷有霆。水中有火，乃焚大槐。 又曰：利害相摩，生火甚多，内热也。众人焚和。众人遗利则和，若利害存怀，则其和焚矣。 又曰：曾子居卫，缊袍无表，三日不举火，十年不制衣。 又曰：孔子穷于陈、蔡之间，七日不火食。 又曰：指穷于为薪，火传，穷，尽也。为薪，犹前薪也。前薪以指，指尽前薪，故火传而不灭。不知其尽也。前火非后火，故为薪而火传，火传而命续，由夫养得其极也，世岂知其尽而更生哉？ 又曰：以火救火，以水救水，名之曰益多。适不能救，乃更足以成彼之威。 又曰：山木自寇也，膏火自煎也。 又曰：马血为磷，人血为野火。 又曰：尧让天下于许由。许由曰：“日月出矣，而爝火不息，其于光也，不亦难乎！” |
