	Tuan Zhuan:	In Zhong Fu we have the (two) weak lines in the innermost part (of the figure), and strong lines occupying the central places (in the trigrams). (We have the attributes) of pleased satisfaction and flexible penetration. Sincerity (thus symbolled) will transform a country. 'Pigs and fish (are moved), and there will be good fortune:' - sincerity reaches to (and affects even) pigs and fishes. 'There will be advantage in crossing the great stream:' - (we see in the figure) one riding on (the emblem of) wood, which forms an empty boat. In (the exercise of the virtue denoted by) Zhong Fu, (it is said that) 'there will be advantage in being firm and correct:' - in that virtue indeed we have the response (of man) to Heaven.

䷼中孚:

中孚：阴阳变动，六位周匝，反及游魂之卦，互体见民，止于信义，与《乾》为飞伏。艮道革变升降，各禀正性，六四、诸侯立世，应初九元士，九五履信，九二反应，气候相合，内外相敌。建始庚子至乙巳，积算起乙巳至甲辰，周而复始，五星从位起镇星，鬼宿从位降辛未，分气候三十六，风与泽二气相合，巽而说，信及于物。物亦顺焉。《易》云：“信及豚鱼。”《兑》入《艮》，六三入阳，内二阳归阴，阴阳交互，复本曰归魂，次降归魂风山《渐》卦。

中孚。象曰：泽上有风，中孚，君子以议狱缓死，信发于中，虽过可亮。彖曰：中孚，柔在内而刚得中，悦而巽孚，有上四德，然后乃孚。乃化邦也。信立而后邦乃化也。柔在内而刚得中，各当其所也。刚得中，则直而正，柔在内，则静而顺，悦而以巽，则乖争不作，如此，则物无巧竞，敦实之行著，而笃信发乎其中矣。豚鱼吉，信及豚鱼，鱼者，虫之潜隐者也。豚者，兽之微贱者也。争竞之道不兴，忠信之德淳著，则虽微隐之物，信皆及之也。中孚以利贞，乃应天。盛之至也。

【策文】《晋王珣孝武帝哀策》曰：同轨毕至，百司胥亚，法物夕陈，轀輬夙驾，亲执馈奠，长号永夜，惧鼓刻之遄尽，哀良辰之莫借，悲宫宇之寥廓，痛圣仪之幽化，夫至德无名，固理绝称喟，然祝史陈辞，亦臣子所贵，寄穷情于翰墨，庶遗尘之仿佛。其辞曰：惟皇作极，五德迭胤，康实复夏，武亦隆晋，亹亹太宗，希夷其韵，镜之者玄，抚之者顺，于穆皇考，嗣徽绝轨，前圣后哲，契合一揆，心去其伐，行遗其美，废华任诚，舍筌存旨，惟深通志，群方咸秩，惟几成务，能事斯毕，未若我皇，至则不疾，恢恢天网，疏而莫失，居有以虚，宰多以少，简则可从，易则不扰，信及豚鱼，泽被亿兆，湛然司契，坐一八表，园陵既卫，威灵赫赫，子来既构，寝庙弈弈，武曰止戈，戎不极役，文教聿修，有耻且格，迹有远迩，感无高深，道之所被，改色革音，皓兽驯苑，素羽栖林，殊柯通理，异蒂同根，方融玄液，陶铸斯民，云韶候奏，比屋思淳，积佑莫应，天罚奄臻，太山颓构，洪渎竭津，何殃之甚，何酷之殷，自罹旻凶，二气代变，霜繁广除，风回高殿，帷幕空张，肴俎虚荐，极听无闻，详视●见，人神道殊，吉凶有礼，龟筮参谋，埏隧告启，史臣考吉，警者在陛，攀援忪忪，惟兄及弟，龙舆肃以引迈，前騼纷以抗旒，城阙俨以整列，驰道亘以通修，感平昔之所幸，岂斯路之复由，挽哀唱以翼衡，驷悲鸣而顾輈，违华宇之晰晰，即永夜之悠悠，奉灵榇而长诀，缅终天而莫收，诉穹苍以叫踊，洞五内其若抽，傥性命之可赎，甘人百于山丘，茫茫大运，靡始不终，哲王遗世，贵在道融，昭哉我皇，万代流风，良史式述，德音永隆。
