| 18 | 文章: | 自古宏才博学，用事误者有矣；百家杂说，或有不同，书傥湮灭，后人不见，故未敢轻议之。今指知决纰缪者，略举一两端以为诫。诗云：“有鷕雉鸣。”又曰：“雉鸣求其牡。”毛传亦曰：“鷕，雌雉声。”又云：“雉之朝雊，尚求其雌。”郑玄注月令亦云：“雊，雄雉鸣。”潘岳赋曰：“雉鷕鷕以朝雊。”是则混杂其雄雌矣。诗云：“孔怀兄弟。”孔，甚也；怀，思也，言甚可思也。陆机与长沙顾母书，述从祖弟士璜死，乃言：“痛心拔脑，有如孔怀。”心既痛矣，即为甚思，何故方言有如也？观其此意，当谓亲兄弟为孔怀。诗云：“父母孔迩。”而呼二亲为孔迩，于义通乎？异物志云：“拥剑状如蟹，但一螯偏大尔。”何逊诗云：“跃鱼如拥剑。”是不分鱼蟹也。汉书：“御史府中列柏树，常有野鸟数千，栖宿其上，晨去暮来，号朝夕鸟。”而文士往往误作乌鸢用之。抱朴子说项曼都诈称得仙，自云：“仙人以流霞一杯与我饮之，辄不饥渴。”而简文诗云：“霞流抱朴碗。”亦犹郭象以惠施之辨为庄周言也。后汉书：“囚司徒崔烈以锒铛锁。”锒铛，大锁也；世间多误作金银字。武烈太子亦是数千卷学士，尝作诗云：“银锁三公脚，刀撞仆射头。”为俗所误。 |
