| 12 | 文质: | 卿、大夫贽，古以麑鹿今以羔、雁何？以为古者质，取其内，谓得美草鸣相呼；今文取其外，谓羔跪乳、雁有行列也。《礼相见经》曰：“上大夫相见，以羔左顾右贽执麑。明古以麑鹿，今以羔也。卿、大夫贽变，君与士贽不变何？人君至尊，极美之物以为贽；士贱伏节死义，一介之道也，故不变。私相见亦有贽何？所以相尊敬，长和睦也。朋友之际，五常之道，有通财之义，振穷救急之意，中心好之，欲饮食之，故财币者所以副至意也。《礼士相见经》曰：“上大夫相见以雁。士冬以雉，夏以脯也。” |
