| 7 | 谥: | 夫人无谥者何？无爵故无谥。或曰：夫人有谥。夫人一国之母，修闺门之内，群下亦化之，故设谥以彰其善恶。《春秋传》曰：“葬宗恭姬。”《传》曰：“称谥何？贤也。”《传》曰：“哀姜者何？庄公夫人也。”卿大夫妻无谥何？贱也。八妾所以无谥何？卑贱无所能务，犹士卑小，不得有谥也。太子夫人无谥何？本妇人随夫，太子无谥，其夫人不得有谥也。天子太子元士也。士无谥，知太子亦无谥也。附庸所以无谥何？卑小无爵也。《王制》曰：“爵禄凡五等。”附庸本非爵也。 |
