Xu Du (509 - 568), courtesy name Xiaojie, was from Anlu County (present-day Anlu City, Yunmeng County, and Yingcheng City in Hubei Province).

In his early years, he was not拘小节 (particular about minor details) and had a fondness for alcohol. He often instructed his servants to buy him wine and was known for his bravery. When Chen Baxian pacified Wang Sengbian, Xu Du and Hou Andu served as commanders of the naval forces. They repeatedly repelled attacks by Xu Suihui and Ren Yue, earning him the title of Xunwei General and Governor of Yingzhou, while also serving concurrently as the Prefect of Wuxing. In the second year of the Tianjia era (561), he became the Prefect of Kuaiji, later serving as Zhennan General, Governor of Xiangzhou, and again as Governor of Yingzhou. He eventually held the positions of Grand Secretary, Grand Preceptor, and Chariot and Cavalry General. His son was Xu Jingcheng.

徐度（509年 - 568年），字孝節，安陸郡（今湖北省安陸市、雲夢縣、應城市一帶）人。

早年不拘小節，嗜酒，常叫僕人買酒，又以驍勇聞名。陳霸先平定王僧辯時，徐度與侯安都擔任水軍。多次擊退徐嗣徽、任約，以功封信威將軍、郢州刺史，兼領吳興太守。天嘉二年（561年）為會稽太守、歷官鎮南將軍、湘州刺史，又官郢州刺史。終官侍中、司空、車騎將軍。其子徐敬成。
