The Xijing Zaji (西京杂记), translated into English as Miscellaneous Records of the Western Capital, is an ancient Chinese collection of short stories. The collection, which is of uncertain authorship, includes 129 stories that mostly takes place in Chang'an, capital of the Western Han dynasty. Although the stories within the collection supposedly dates back to the late Western Han, however, most modern scholars consider the collection a later work, no earlier than the 3rd century (with Ge Hong being named as its compiler or one of its main editors), with stories being added during the 4th century and later.

《西京杂记》，中国古小说集，共129则，每篇短者仅十馀字，长者亦不过千馀字，相传是东晋葛洪著，一说汉朝刘歆作，史学家顾颉刚在《中国史学入门》指出：《西京杂记》这本书，「讲了汉朝的许多故事。书的作者是谁？没有定论。有的说是刘歆，有的说是晋朝的葛洪」。「西京」指京都长安。全书「采辑既富」，所记多为西汉遗闻轶事、时尚风习、奇人绝技等：如：南粤王赵佗献南海岛所产珊瑚树于长安，王嫱不愿贿画工致远嫁匈奴，卓文君作《白头吟》，每年八月四日，戚夫人总要陪刘邦下围棋等事，亦出自此书。
