The Yuefu Shiji (Music Bureau Collection) is a comprehensive anthology of Yuefu poetry from the Han Dynasty up to the Tang and Five Dynasties periods. It also includes some ancient songs that were transmitted before the Han Dynasty, compiled by the Song Dynasty scholar Guo Maoqian. The 'Yuefu Shiji' is a fairly complete anthology of Yuefu poetry, collecting folk songs, literary works, and ancient ballads from the Han to Tang Five Dynasties periods. The poems are categorized into twelve classes based on their musical modes, making it an important early document for studying Yuefu poetry. The 'Yuefu Shiji' was once part of the collections of prominent bibliophiles such as Xu Qianxue and Ji Zhenyi in the early Qing Dynasty. In 1918, it was acquired by the modern scholar Fu Zengxiang. During the 1930s and 1940s, Fu Zengxiang had the book re-bound.
