Historical Evolution

• In the first year of Zhengtong (1436), the position was established, covering all of Guangxi. It was later abolished.

• In the fourteenth year of Zhengtong (1575), it was restored.

• In the first year của Tianshun (1457), it was abolished.

• In the second year of Tianshun (1460), it was merged with the Governor of Guangdong to form the Governor of Liangguang.

• In the sixth year of Tianshun (1568), it separated from the Governor of Liangguang, covering all of Guangxi.

• In the first年 of Chenghua (1465), it was again merged with the Governor of Guangdong to form the Governor of Liangguan.

• In the fourth year of Chenghua (1570), it separated.

• In the sixth年 of Chenghua (1792), it was once again merged into the Governor of Liangguong.

• In the forty-fifth year of Jiajing (1566), it separated from the Governor of Guangxi, and remained unchanged thereafter.
