Governor of Shaanxi, full title Governor of the Shaanxi Region Assisting Military Affairs, was a position responsible for the administration of the Shaanxi region during the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty.
• In the first year, the position of Governor of Yan'an was established, with Yan'an Prefecture and Qingyang Prefecture coming under its jurisdiction.
• It was abolished again in the first year of the Tiansun era.
• The establishment was restored for a second time in the sixth year of the Tiansun era.
• In the twelfth year of the Chenghua era, Hanzhong Prefecture and Shang County, which were under Xi'an Prefecture, were separated and came under the jurisdiction of the Governor of Yunyang.
• In the second year of the Zhengde era, the position of Governor of Yunyang was abolished, and Hanzhong Prefecture and Xi'an Prefecture were returned to the jurisdiction of the Governor of Shaanxi.
• In the fifth year of the Zhengde era, the position of Governor of Yunyang was restored, and these regions came under its jurisdiction again.
• In the ninth year of the Wanli era, the position of Governor of Yunnan was abolished, and these regions were returned to the jurisdiction of the Shaanxi Governor.
• In the eleventh year of the Wanli era, the Governor of Yunyang was restored again, and these regions once more came under its jurisdiction. Thereafter, there were no major changes in the jurisdiction.
