Biography
He placed twelfth in the Jiangxi provincial examination. In the fourth year of the Zhengtong era (1439), he ranked twenty-ninth in the metropolitan examination and fourteenth in the third class of the palace examination, after which he was appointed as the magistrate of Putian County. He later advanced to the position of Director of the Ministry of Justice and then to the rank of Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Justice. Due to being falsely accused, he was exiled to guard Liaoyang.
