《南史·卷十　陳本紀下第十》：秋九月戊戌，立皇子叔彪為淮南王。
陳叔彪，字子華，南陳高宗宣帝陳頊第十三子，母王姬，封淮南王。

陳叔彪少年聰惠，善寫文章。太建八年（576年）九月戊戌，立為淮南王，後為侍中、仁威將軍，置佐史（有諮議參軍姚察、長史褚玠）。陳後主禎明三年（589年）陳朝滅亡後，被隋朝遷入關中。在長安去世。

叔彪之子陳瓊，唐州錄事參軍。陳瓊之子陳彞，左散騎常侍。陳彞之子陳商字述聖，秘書監、許昌縣男。陳商之子陳峻。
