鮑廷博（1728年 - 1814年），字以文，號淥飲，安徽歙縣長塘人。家世經商，早年隨父鮑思詡寓居杭州。性情寬厚，好吟詠，家富藏書，「乃購前人書以為歡，既久而所得書益多且精，遂裒然為大藏書家。」。乾隆帝南巡時，鮑廷博「迎鑾獻頌，獲賞大緞二疋。」刊有《知不足齋叢書》二十七集，朱文藻為之序，稱其「一編在手，廢寢忘食，丹鉛無已時。一字之疑，一行之缺，必博征以証之，廣詢以求之。」。藏書印有「世守陳編之家」、「老屋三間賜書萬卷」。有子鮑士恭。
