北燕（）是十六國時期漢人馮跋建立的政權。407年，馮跋滅後燕，擁立高雲（慕容雲）為天王，建都龍城（今遼寧省朝陽市），仍舊沿用後燕國號。409年，高雲被部下離班、桃仁所殺，馮跋平定政變後即天王位于昌黎（今遼寧省義縣）。據有今遼寧省西南部和河北省東北部。436年被北魏所滅。因其都龍城，又名黃龍，故南朝宋稱其為黃龍國。也有史書因其地處東北地區南部，又稱其為東燕，但較為罕見。

The Northern Yan (北燕 Bĕi Yān; 407 or 409–436), also known in some historical texts as the Eastern Yan (東燕 Dōng Yān), was a dynastic state during the era of Sixteen Kingdoms in northern China. Some historians consider Gao Yun, a member of the Goguryeo royal family, to be the first Northern Yan monarch, while others consider Feng Ba of Han Chinese ethnicity to be the founder.All rulers of the Northern Yan declared themselves "emperors".
