King Píng of Chu (楚平王 Chŭ Píng Wáng, died 516 BC) was from 528 to 516 BC king of the State of Chu during the Spring and Autumn Period of ancient China. He was a son of King Gong of Chu and his consort and sibling of King Zi'ao. Born Xiong Qiji (熊弃疾), Píng changed his name to Xiong Ju (熊居) after ascending the throne, and King Píng was his posthumous title. He changed his name likely because of the naming taboo. He married Bo Ying and was succeeded by their son, King Zhao of Chu.
