《孟子·梁惠王上》:度，然後知長短。
By measuring, we know what things are long, and what short.
《韓非子》:鄭人有且置履者，先自度其足而置之其坐，至之市而忘操之，已得履，乃曰：「吾忘持度。」
《荀子·非相》:故以人度人，以情度情，以類度類，以說度功，以道觀盡，古今一也。
