“婴、犊乎！	Children and cattle!
婴、犊母怀不父怀。	Children and cattle cherish their mothers but do not cherish their fathers.
母怀，爱也：	Cherishing one's mother is love.
父怀，敬也。	Cherishing one's father is reverence.
独母而不父，	Cherishing only the mother and not the father
未若父母之懿也。”	is not as good as cherishing both mother and father.
