至于家，When he came to the house,
入门左， he entered the gate at the left side of it,
升自西阶，(passed through the court), and ascended to the hall by the steps on the west.
殡东， He knelt on the east of the coffin,
西面坐， with his face to the west,
哭尽哀，and wailed, giving full vent to his grief.
括发袒，He (then) tied up his hair in a knot, bared his arms,
降堂东即位，and went down from the hall, proceeding to his place on the east,
西乡哭， where he wailed towards the west.
成踊， Having completed the leaping,
袭绖于序东， he covered his arms and put on his sash of sackcloth in the corridor on the east;
绞带。 and after tucking up the ends of his sash,
反位， he returned to his place.
拜宾成踊，He bowed to the visitors, leaping with them,
送宾， and escorted them (to the gate),
反位； returning (afterwards) to his place.
有宾后至者， When other visitors arrived,
则拜之， he bowed to them,
成踊、送宾皆如初。leaped with them, and escorted them - all in the same way.
众主人兄弟皆出门，(After this), all the principal mourners, with their cousins, went out at the gate,
出门哭止； stopping there while they wailed.
阖门， The gate was then closed,
相者告就次。 and the director told them to go to the mourning shed.
