居不容。At home, he did not put on any formal deportment.
见齐衰者，When he saw any one in a mourning dress,
虽狎，though it might be an acquaintance,
必变。he would change countenance;
见冕者与瞽者，when he saw any one wearing the cap of full dress, or a blind person,
虽亵，though he might be in his undress,
必以貌。he would salute him in a ceremonious manner.
凶服者式之。式负版者。To any person in mourning he bowed forward to the crossbar of his carriage; he bowed in the same way to any one bearing the tables of population.
有盛馔，When he was at an entertainment where there was an abundance of provisions set before him,
必变色而作。he would change countenance and rise up.
迅雷风烈，On a sudden clap of thunder, or a violent wind,
必变。he would change countenance.
