抑抑威仪、An outward demeanour, cautious and grave,
维德之隅。Is an indication of the [inward] virtue.
人亦有言、People have the saying,
靡哲不愚。'There is no wise man who is not [also] stupid. '
庶人之愚、The stupidity of the ordinary man,
亦职维疾。Is determined by his [natural] defects.
哲人之愚、The stupidity of the wise man,
亦维斯戾。Is from his doing violence [to his natural character].
