秋而載嘗、In autumn comes the sacrifices of the season,
夏而楅衡。But in summer the bulls for it have had their horns capped.
白牡騂剛、They are the white bull and the red one;
犧尊將將。[There are] the bull-figured goblet in its dignity;
毛炰胾羹、Roast pig, minced meat, and soups;
籩豆大房。The dishes of bamboo and wood, and the large stand;
萬舞洋洋、And the dancers all-complete.
孝孫有慶。The filial descendant will be blessed.
俾爾熾而昌、[Your ancestors]will make you gloriously prosperous!
俾爾壽而臧。They will make you long-lived and good, -
保彼東方、To preserve this eastern region,
魯邦是常。Long possessing the State of Lu,
不虧不崩、Unwaning, unfallen,
不震不騰。Unshaken, undisturbed!
三壽作朋、They will make your friendship with your three aged [ministers],
如岡如陵。Like the hills, like the mountains!
