保有凫绎、He shall maintain the possession of Hu and Yi,
遂荒徐宅。And extend his sway to the regions of Xu,
至于海邦、Even to the States along the sea.
淮夷蛮貊。The tribes of the Huai, the Man, and the Mi,
及彼南夷、And those tribes [still more] to the south,
莫不率从。All will proffer their allegiance:
莫敢不诺、Not one will dare not to answer to his call,
鲁侯是若。Thus showing their obedience to the marquis of Lu.
