少君有教道、祠竈、却老之方， Li Shao Jun taught Dao and a method to keep off old age by means of sacrificing to the "Hearth."
又名齐桓公所铸鼎， He determined the period of a tripod cast under Duke Huan of Qi,
知九十老人王父所游射之验，and knew the places frequented, when hunting, by the grandfather of a nonagenarian,
然尚无得道之实， and yet he did not really attain to Dao.
而徒性寿迟死之人也。He was only a long-lived man, who died late.
况朔无少君之方术效验，Moreover, Dong Fang Shuo was not as successful as Li Shao Jun in magical arts,
世人何见谓之得道？ wherefore then was he credited with the possession of Dao?
