曾子曰：Zeng-zi said,
「小功不為位也者，'Not to have places (for wailing) in cases of the five months' mourning
是委巷之禮也。 is a rule which sprang from the ways in small lanes.'
子思之哭嫂也為位，When Zi-si wailed for his sister-in-law, he made such places,
婦人倡踴； and his wife took the lead in the stamping.
申祥之哭言思也亦然。」When Shen-xiang wailed for Yan-si, he also did the same.
