| Posted by: deqingli (Paul) | 父母之年，不可不知也（慎其终），（知其）健在则喜，（知其）病弱则惧，（知其）亡佚则祭（追远），最后这句是曾子补充的，并总结为慎终追远（孔子只说慎终，曾子补以追远）。祭如在，祭神如神在。子曰：「吾不与祭，如不祭。」祭如现，祭祖如祖现，祭神如神现，不祭如不现。我不与（他们）同祭，犹吾祖、神不与他们同在（现）。离经叛道者之祭，只是流于形式，孔子不与之同祭。可见，孔子（君子）之“追远”也别于小人（民）之“追远”。
