信近於義 Being trustworthy is close to being just:
言可復也 Its words can be repeated.
恭近於禮 Respectfulness is close to ritual propriety:
遠恥辱也 It keeps far from shame and insult.
因不失其親 Because they do not lose/neglect their kin
亦可宗也 These [virtues] are indeed worthy partners/guides.
