按照站上的孫子十一家註本，此句應作：「其用戰也，勝久則鈍兵挫銳，攻城則力屈，久暴師則國用不足。」無「貴」字。此外，「其用戰也勝」解釋不通，因此標點應下在「也」字之後；杜牧註：「勝久，謂淹久而後能勝也。」
