一、到達了那天。
唐皎然《荅蘇州韋應物郎中》詩：「到日掃煩政，況今休黷兵。」
唐元稹《見樂天》詩：「通州到日日平西，江館無人虎印泥。」
二、到了這日子。
唐方干《德政上睦州胡中丞》詩：「上德由來合動天，旌旗到日是豐年。」
唐張籍《送從弟濛赴饒州》詩：「到日便行清靜化，春田應不見蓬蒿。」
三、回來之日。
唐白居易《送唐州崔使君侍親赴任》詩：「發時止許沙鷗送，到日方乘竹馬迎。」
