| Posted by: bao_pu (Scott Barnwell) | In case anyone is interested, there is a parallel-variant found in the second chapter of the Liezi which reads: 列姑射山在海河洲中，山上有神人焉，吸風飲露，不食五穀；心如淵泉，形如處女，不偎不愛，仙聖為之臣；不畏不怒，愿愨為之使；不施不惠，而物自足；不聚不歛，而己无愆。陰陽常調，日月常明，四時常若，風雨常均，字育常時，年穀常豐；而土无札傷，人无夭惡，物无疵厲，鬼无靈響焉。 (Translated by Graham on page 35) |
