發言者：estherklein (Esther Klein)	I am fairly certain that 袤 is the wrong character. Yes, as Sun Yirang says, the meaning should be 姦邪 (though I myself would not emend the text). My Zhonghua shuju edition has a very similar-looking character, but it has 牙 rather than 矛 as the component. Bonus, the one with 牙 actually means 邪, so it's probably worth correcting. (My font set doesn't seem to have it, that I could find, but surely you have solved that.)

發言者：the_duke (Ofer Waldman)	Just checked it: According to all scanned resources in ctext, the digitized 袤 sign is indeed wrong and should be 衺 (https://www.unicode.org/cgi-bin/GetUnihanData.pl?codepoint=887a) as you suggest. So the text should probably be fixed to match the scanned source. Main scanned source (which I cannot find a way to identify) has 衺: https://ctext.org/photo.pl?if=en&node=22207 Same in the scanned 正統道藏 version: https://ctext.org/library.pl?if=en&file=100265&page=29 The 墨子閒詁, Qing's Sun yirang edition scanning from Peking Uni is low quality, but in both main text and comments it seems to be a variant of 衺 based on the variant shown in en.glyphwiki.org/wiki/u2ff1-u7... : https://ctext.org/library.pl?if=en&file=32222&page=77 Same variant in the scanned 摛藻堂四庫全書薈要 version from Zhejiang Uni: https://ctext.org/library.pl?if=en&file=8649&page=45 Same variant in the scanned 四部叢刊初編 version: https://ctext.org/library.pl?if=en&file=77769&page=39 The rest of the scanned Mozi resources doesn't have the relevant test in them.
