| | In spring of the fifth year, on the Jia Xu and Ji Chou days of the first month, Lord Chen Hou Bao died. Why is it recorded that he died on two dates? It was because of the confusion in recording. He went missing on the Jia Xu day and died and was found on the Ji Chou day; gentlemen were doubtful, so it is recorded that he died on both days.
