| | In the twelfth year [of his reign], spring, the King's third month: Ju people attacked our eastern frontier and besieged Tai. When attacking a state, it is not mentioned that a town was surrounded; this highlights the more significant event. Capturing a town is recorded without mentioning a siege. What is there to record at all? Jisun Su led the army to rescue Tai, and thus entered Yun. "Suí," indicates a subsequent action. He was commanded to rescue Tai, but entered Yun without orders; this censures Jisun Su.
