謙:六位謙順,四象無凶。一陽居內卦之上,為《謙》之主。《易》曰:「謙謙君子,利涉大川。」陰陽不爭,處位謙柔。陰中見陽,止順於《謙》。有無之位,上下皆通。《易》曰:「撝謙。」無不順也。與《坤》為飛伏。六位居世,大夫在應,建始庚申至乙丑,積筭起乙丑至甲子,周而復始,金土入《坤》、《艮》。五星從位起太白,張宿從位降癸亥,分氣候二十八。《坤》在《艮》上,順而止,五行入位,象《謙》柔。陰陽升降,至六五位,返入游魂,變歸六四。八卦相離,四象分也。次降入雷山《小過》卦。 |
| | Qian: Six positions of humility and compliance, four trigrams without misfortune. One yang line occupies the top position of the inner trigram, serving as the master of Qian (Humility). The Yijing says: "A humble and courteous gentleman benefits from crossing great rivers." Yin and Yang do not contend; they occupy positions with humility and gentleness. Yang is evident within yin, stopping and conforming to Qian (Humility). The positions of existence and non-existence are interconnected both above and below. The Yijing says: "Hui Qian." Nothing is not in harmony. It forms fei fu with Kun (Earth). The six positions occupy the world; a great officer is in ying. Beginning from Gengshen to Yichou, the accumulated calculation starts from Yichou to Jiashi, cycling and repeating endlessly. Metal and earth enter Kun (Earth) and Gen (Mountain). The five stars begin from Tai Bai, following the position; Zhang Su descends from the position to Guihai, dividing into twenty-eight climatic periods. Kun (Earth) is above Gen (Mountain), moving forward and stopping; the five elements enter their positions, embodying Qian's gentleness. Yin and Yang rise and fall until reaching position Liuwu, then return into you hun (wandering spirit), transforming back to position Liusi. The eight trigrams separate; this is the division of the four trigrams. Next, descending into Leishan Xiaoguo (Small Excess) hexagram.
