苧：《唐韻》直呂切《集韻》丈呂切，𠀤音佇。草名。可爲繩。《張衡·南都賦》其草則藨苧薠莞。《王褒·僮約》多取蒲苧，益作繩索。《本草》取苧根和米粉爲餠禦饑，味甘美。又苧蘿，山名。《吳越春秋》苧蘿山鬻薪之女曰西施、鄭旦。又《集韻》陳如切，音除。義同。又通作紵。《詩·陳風》東門之池，可以漚紵。《註》苧同。亦作芧。
