蚊：〔古文〕蟁《唐韵》《正韵》𠀤无分切，音文。《说文》啮人飞虫也。《续博物志》地湿则生蚊。《大戴礼》白鸟者，谓蚊蚋也。《尔雅翼》蚊者，恶水中孑孑所化，噆人肌肤，其声如雷。《庄子·天运篇》蚊蝱噆肤，则通昔不寐矣。又《唐国史补》江东有蚊母鸟，亦谓吐蚊鸟，夏则夜鸣，吐蚊于丛苇闲，湖州尤甚。又蚊子树，实类枇杷，熟则自裂，蚊尽而空壳矣。《韵会》作蟁。《集韵》亦作𧓹𧏎䘇。
