豉：《唐韻》《集韻》《韻會》是義切《正韻》時吏切，𠀤音䊓。與𢻃同。《說文》配鹽幽尗也。《徐曰》尗，豆也。幽，謂造之幽暗也。《釋名》豉，嗜也。五味調和，須之而成，乃可甘嗜也。《史記·貨殖傳》鹽豉千合。《前漢·食貨志》長安樊少翁賣豉，號豉樊。又草豉。《本草綱目》生巴西諸國，草似韭狀，豉出花中。彼人食之。又豉蟲。《葛洪·肘後方》此蟲正黑如大豆，浮遊水上，治射工毒成瘡、口不能語。用豉母蟲一枚含口中，卽瘥。《類篇》或作䜻。
