吝：〔古文〕𠲲𠯌𠴽《唐韻》《集韻》《韻會》《正韻》𠀤良刃切，音藺。《說文》恨也。《易·屯卦》君子幾不如舍往吝。《註》夫君子之動，豈取恨辱哉。故不如舍往吝窮也。又《繫辭》悔吝者，憂虞之象也。又《說文》惜也。《易·說卦》坤爲吝嗇。《書·仲虺之誥》攺過不吝。《註》無所吝惜。《論語》使驕且吝。《註》吝，鄙嗇也。又與遴通。《前漢·王莽傳》性實遴嗇。《註》師古曰：遴讀與吝同。《說文》俗作恡。《廣韻》俗作𠫤。又鄙吝之吝亦作悋。《集韻》或作𠳺𠳈，又鄙吝之吝亦作𢙵。
